Cal State Stanislaus tree project standing tall after 21 years
Twenty-one years ago, botanist Wayne Pierce and his supporters gathered to plant acorns and saplings, the beginning of an outdoor classroom project at California State University, Stanislaus. Wayne Pierce died in 2008, but his wife Donna kept the project going. The outdoor classroom is nearing completion.
